Nail clipping?

    Should Molly be having her nails clipped? They are quite long and sharp now. She doesn't do much pavement walking so I suppose they are not getting worn down. Thanks.

    Actually it's the dew claws that are really sharp.

    If you can get her accustomed to nail maintenance from an early age, it will make your life easier later on. Some dogs' nails grow a lot faster than others and need clipping whether or not they are walked on pavements. It depends on the dog. You can opt for either clippers (I use these on Shadow) or a Dremel (which I use on Willow).     I get Harley's nails checked by my vets twice a year and I get them to clip them if needed as I am too much of a wuss to do it myself
