Poor little guy, do try again with the cool cloth. Maybe feed him high value treats while doing it. They aren't meant to be outside of the sheath...
The vet also suggested I could use a little bit of lube for it but I never had too, cold cloth always did the trick :)
I would use a cool cloth on his penis to bring the swelling down so it goes back in. You don't want it out. I've had to do this with Odie many...
