Hi all, We have a 10 week old black lab puppy who just had their vet visit and our vet told us it is the worst overbite she has seen. We got him from a breeder no plans on showing or breeding but am now concerned for his quality of life going forward. We have had him for 2 weeks and are attached but previously in Sept lost our 10.5 old lab/border collie mix to an aggressive cancer and am not sure we can go through that many medical appointments again. Any advice would be great!
I would go back and ask questions of your breeder. Presumably your pup had a vet check when with them and it would have been identified there ? I don’t know what long term it entails, but it sounds like your breeder should be contributing?
Our breeder indicated that they would cover the cost of removal of the adult teeth if needed. Again cost is not an issue as we only want the best life for him. I am curious of others who have had the same experience and how their dogs made out
Hi, can I just ask the outcome of your pup with the overbite? Vets has just told us that our puppy has an overbite. You can see the gap when you open his mouth. Just curious how it may play out
