Who plans to take their dog to work? How would your work place react?
I'll have to make a few arrangements but the head of my school is happy to have Homer come along for the day.

I work from home mostly so it'd be pretty much the same as most days. Might see if OH wants to take one of the pooches into school :D

In my last employment there was no way a dog would be allowed on site. We struggled with the 'bring your daughter to work day' because of seĉurity :(

:( not allowed - I work in a medical centre. We did have a persistent cat a few months ago - it came in every time someone opened the door, and sat in the waiting room. Lost count of the number of times I took it out and put it over the fence.

Harley comes to work with me quite a bit, but unfortunately won't be able to that day. Harley comes with me for walks with the children, helps with reading sessions, problem solving, behaviour management and confidence. She makes a huge impact on a lot of the children, especially with children with additional needs. It's just a shame that my job doing 1-2-1 support with children and young people comes to an stop at the end of July due to funding ;(
During the summer holidays she will come to the Playscheme with me a lot (5-11 year olds). Just hope I can find another job where they are happy for me to use Harleys abilities.

I hope someone benefits from you and Harley together after this job ends. You both clearly have so much to offer!

Sorry to hear that @Naya - is there anything on the horizon?

I would LOVE to take Lilly. If all of us took our dogs there would be about a dozen of them!

I work at home a lot - Charlie helps by lying under the desk and reminding me when it's 10.30am (walk time), 1pm (garden time), 3pm (walk time), 6pm (end of work time).

In theory I'd like to take him to the office. In practice it would be a nightmare. He wouldn't be able to come into pret with me, what on earth would I do with him when I had to leave my desk to go to a meeting, the space for him to get comfy would be limited, and he would not enjoy the long commute either way. Plus, he wouldn't get very many walks and what walks he got would be up and down Marylebone highstreet! I sort of have things to do in the office. Unless it is really take your dog to work and don't actually do any work day.....
