I'm so sorry it couldn't have been better news. You have done everything possible to do the best for Kobe, but most of all he's known a very loving home. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Oh, how awful for all of you! Thinking of you at this difficult time. When our boy had to be put to sleep in November it took a while to really understand what others said, about how dogs live in the moment, and that he didn't know that his life had been cut short, and I was totally unprepared for the level of grief that I felt. I can see it now, though. Give yourself time to grieve, and come back and tell us about the next pup that you must get.
I feel terrible for you and Kobe. I can't really imagine having to go through this with a pup, but I'm sure you made the right decision.
