My eight month old black lab, Lucy, Is one test short of passing the Canine good citizen test. Recently on our walks she has started to bite the leash and dart in front of passing cars.I’ve tried to redirect her with treats, standing still while not pulling the leash to prevent her from thinking we are playing tug-of-war. I’ve tried to put a treat in front of her nose and give her another command and she won’t listen. What should I do? Also, she has a bad habit of jumping on new people. With us if she jumps on us we just turn around and she sits and we give her good praises. We tell new people to do the same but she still jumps on them does anyone have any suggestions how to fix that problem as well. thanks for all the help!
