We spent a lot of time with our puppy in the first 2 to 3 months introducing her to new experiences, including going down to the local large lake. Since then, we’ve mainly been for walks in the countryside. Recently, we’ve tried going down to the lakeside again and she has started to get anxious (lying down, trying to get away), when she gets near ramps going down to the water’s edge. This didn’t happen before, but it has maybe been a while since she went there last. She’s certainly not afraid of water, loves running in streams etc. It’s wrong to pull her to move on, but how do i get her to overcome this new anxiety?
As long as the older dogs are vaccinated / not sick, and you (try to) prevent the puppy from eating anything, the puppy will be perfectly fine! Kodi nox
