    These things happen so quickly, you're never prepared for them. It's like something from a comedy. Georgie wanting her ball, dog and deer head to head and then deer getting hit by ball. Must admit I had chuckle too. But like I say, things do happen very quickly and without warning, you can only do what you can do in those circumstances. Bet you never see that deer again. He's probably gone home and told everyone there's some mad human about, steer clear. :)

    I laughed out loud at this! Sorry - know it must have been scary at the time. I think it's the thought of Georgie, oblivious to anything but his ball, while all hell breaks loose around him! ;D

    I sense your anquish and frustrations , but sorry , reading through has really made me laugh , I`m sure you were far from laughing at the time though xx

    Its been a good story to relay at any event.
    I can almost guarantee we will see that deer again though. I hope it remembers to move quickly next time, in the OPPOSITE direction.
    Chuckling about it now right enough.
    Thank you all for your sympathetic noises. I do love the like-mindedness of this forum :)
