It was such a beautiful sunny morning this morning so I took Mabel to St Nicholas's park in Warwick, for a nice walk along the river. We had a fun time meeting so many friendly dogs and people it was a joy. For those with a little more energy you can walk along to Hatton locks which is beautiful. There is a small cafe with wonderful food that also welcomes dogs. We left the park and went to find a dog cafe I had recently heard about where dogs take their owners, it's called Chiens et Cafe has two menus a human one and dog one. It is just first class super friendly staff where nothing is too much trouble. It only opened in December and is proving to be very popular. I treated Mabel to a liver cup cake. It was so nice and relaxing not having to worry about other customers. Dispite the cafe being small all the dogs were happy, interacting nicely, Mabel even had a little snooze. If anyone ever fancies a visit to Warwickshire there is certainly plenty of dog friendly places to visit. Kenilworth and Stratford have always been a couple of my favourites now I can add Warwick.
Gorgeous photo's Claire and what a great idea to have a doggie/human cafe, you are so lucky I have never seen one before. Lucky Mabel - a liver cupcake xx
Wonderful pictures (you and Mabel are both very dashing!) and sounds like a lovely day out. Cafe, castle, river and SUNSHINE!
@Emily_BabbelHund thank you for a lovely compliment I don't think we have been called dashing before.
