I don't know if many if you know, but I also have a cat. He was a year old in April, and he's a really cute white with grey patches. Lovely looking boy. The thing is... He just doesn't act very cat-like here's a list of all the weird stuff he does: 1. He will drink out of the toilet 2. He eats anything. And I mean anything. He would put Penny to shame. 3. He absolutely adores to play with water. Any time you turn a tap on, he's there. If you forget to shut the bathroom door when you have a shower he'll be in there with you. He tries to get in the bath with you. I won't even go into detail what he does when my boyfriend forgets to shut the door when he's having a wee... 4. He drinks out of your cup. His favourite drink is cider. 5. He tries to eat the dog food when I feed Penny. 6. He tries to eat the rabbit food when I feed them. 7. He plays with the dog, like he's a dog. He's just plain odd. And a bit of a cheeky git - he climbed our Christmas tree and liked to sit in it, that's fine. Until he started pulling the baubles off. If the dog is lying quietly with a bone he will run up, jump on her head and run away again. He jumps on the kitchen counter when you're trying to make food. If you leave any food out, even if wrapped securely in a bag he will tear it open and eat what's inside. He likes Victoria sponge cake the best. Anyone else got any weirdo pets?
Re: A cat that's not really a cat... My cat shreds cardboard. He just loves it. He will shred it into 1" diameter pieces. Should be fun when I get my pup - just give them a cardboard box each! My other cat Used to just sleep on his back with 4 legs in the air. (He's too frail and old now).
Re: A cat that's not really a cat... Nowhere near as odd as your cat but I have one cat who refuses to wash herself, she gets my other cat to wash her! Plus we spent a fortune on a big scratching tree for them and she won't use it so her claws get really long and get stuck in everything. Even the carpet as she plods along

[/quote] No I haven't but if I did I'd want a cat just like yours ;D he sounds great fun! What's his name and let's have a picture x I had a pet goose called Mrs Wonderful....who turned out to be Mr Wonderful and was terribly protective and territorial over me ....I left home and my Mum and Dad had to send him to a small holding after my sister got fed up of being charged and nipped at it was a lovely place though ,my parents used to take their touring caravan there so they saw him for many years having a fine old time with his Harem of ladies ;D
Re: A cat that's not really a cat... Oh I'd love geese.... I used to keep a freshwater yabbie in a fish tank in my bedroom. Eventually I put him in the fish pond in the garden and a kookaburra ate him

Re: A cat that's not really a cat... He may have some Burmese in him, they are very much like dogs in many ways, will even retrieve.
Re: A cat that's not really a cat... Ok here he is! His name is Fergus, I adopted him from the rescue centre I worked at. He was found with two other kittens at about 7 weeks old in a bin at the local recycling centre. This is when we first got him, aged about 12weeks. This was just taken a few minutes ago, not that clear though, sorry! The dog was under the duvet and he was about to pounce on her head!
Re: A cat that's not really a cat... He is lovely - sounds like they get up to some fun and games the pair of them!
Re: A cat that's not really a cat... He could have a little Burmese in there ;D He looks a great character.
Re: A cat that's not really a cat... He is so like a cat we had when I was a child. Spitting image of him. His name was Patch and Mum got him from the RSPCA. Brother and I didn't know Mum and Dad were getting him until we got home from school and there he was. He was lovely, but nothing like Fergus although he did nick a joint of beef once and we ended up having corned beef for Sunday lunch.
Re: A cat that's not really a cat... I used to live in North Queensland and we would go to the local river to catch guppies for our fish tank. ;D
Re: A cat that's not really a cat... Unfortunately I didn't manage to get a picture, but this morning the cat was sat in the rabbit run in the garden.... Just sitting there watching me out the washing on the line, quite happily minding his own business. Weirdo. Oh and I have previously caught him sitting in the washing machine.
