Yes, I see your point. Oh, waffle, waffle! Somebody wiser than me has to figure this out!! The whole controversy about zoos, circuses, aquariums, etc is a big one! All those places like SeaWorld are facing massive pressure now (and rightly so, I think) to no longer trap dolphins and killer whales to use for shows. Yes, some good comes out of it in terms of people's appreciation for these magnificent animals and the added knowledge that is gained by studying them (and training them) up close but it seems the scale is now tipping to the opinion that the added knowledge and entertainment factor is not worth the stress the animals are placed under due to their deprivation of their natural habitat and life.
