Having been incapacitated with a pesky bug for over ten days , I haven't done any training at all with the dogs, zilch . Today is the first day in ages that I`ve felt human , so off to the woods with dummy for the lad and a ball for the terrorist , not expecting much due to the lapse . Well , sorry for the boast but we had the very best session, ever , I really must learn how to take videos with my camera as Paul , who is very disabled , never gets to share the joy of seeing Sam " working " . It was one of those times when the heart feels like exploding with pride and joy , he did some wonderful blinds , watching me for instruction constantly , tail never stopping for a second and all the time , Millie was content to have ball thrown a few yards , leaving the big lad alone to enjoy himself . No doubt the bubble will burst , tomorrow is another day but oh boy , it gave me the lift I badly needed , came home with a massive smile on my face , extra fish for tea Sam :)

Sounds lovely ;D They do say that dogs are often much better after a lay off of training. So glad after a miserable 10 days with a bug, you have had this great uplift.
