Although very warm, we had a lovely walk around the lake late this afternoon. Dogs have to be kept on lead around the lake but when there's no-one around we do allow Juno off lead, unfortunately there were a few people around today :( but no dogs :p

unfortunately swimming is not allowed and the water level is around 2 foot lower than a month ago and very shallow so not safe :(, must make a trip to our other local lake to make up for it :D

Looks lovely :) So pity swimming wasn't allowed - I'm afraid my dogs would have to stay on leads as well in such situation :)

This lake walk is probably the only place we go where dogs are meant to be on lead, although our first trip there with our trainer and her 2 dogs they weren't on lead. It was only after numerous visits we discovered the rule when reading all the directives from the local Mairie :rolleyes:.

While on holiday last week all the local beaches were dog-friendly but they had to be on lead, although according to the local Mairie one could use one's discretion if no-one was around, and of course the rules don't say you have to be holding the lead...... No wonder France can be so confusing.....:D:D:D:D
