Have had such a good weekend. Weather dry and bright. Have taken Milo my 9 month old choc lab out every day with my husband for a good hour long walk. The places we have been to - two country parks and one National Trust - have been mercifully free of too many other people and dogs and Milo has been able to go off lead and explore to his heart's content. It's been brilliant seeing him splash in the muddy puddles and bound along without a care in the world. So far so good with recall to the whistle too. Not tested him with other dogs around yet but seems to keep us in his sights and not go too far ahead. Have just booked a week away at the end of April in a house in Warkworth. Have stayed in this area before with our cocker boy (sadly at Rainbow bridge) and he loved the river walks and endless beaches so sure Milo will too.
Re: A weekend of glorious walks Sounds like you have had a lovely weekend and can look forward to visiting a place where you enjoy remembering some lovely walks you discovered with your spaniel x
