The dogs are beautiful. But I have one thought which I wanted to throw in the mix - I'll post this question as a separate post and see what people think......I'll do that now....
Re: About to buy a puppy..... Hi Lochan, thanks for the information you gave me. All pretty much what we have experienced with Charlie and are working hard to prevent it as he is on a 10 mtr training line and working on a verbal recall and doing Pippas Total Recall whistle training also. We see the standing still, head up, tail wagging etc. and we get him to sit/wait/look at me to get him through it. Very difficult when as you say, there is no interest in food or toy distractions etc. Remote spray collar sounds interesting. Thanks again for sharing your expertise with me. Helen
