Admin -ad that advises aversive training methods

    Just out of interest I clicked just now on an advert that appeared on this forum. It led me to a site called trainpetdog.com I browsed the site and it advises (under 'training stubborn and difficult dog breeds') that you should use a shake can and also that 'using jerk and release will be very important for these dogs'.

    I'm sure Pippa would not wish this sort of advice to be given.

    Thanks for letting us know. I'm not sure how much control we have over the advertising content but agree that we'd want to steer right away from this if at all possible.

    How annoying. I can ban whole ad topics, but of course normally dog training is the most relevant so it seems a shame to do that. I'll see if it is possible to ban that particular site. Thanks for letting us know.
