    Oh I hadn’t seen this thread when I posted mine, it is funny how manic barking border collies are a bit of a theme...! I am glad you had another go and it sounds like it went much better for both of you :)

    I took Moo and Doug specifically to a collie class so they could get used to a lot of noise. There' was kelpies too now if you think collie's are focused you should see a kelpie go, they are a bit quieter though. Doug and Moo enjoyed their time in collie town they learnt how to dance and how to ignore barky dogs. Moo is also fixated on collie boys she thinks they are so sexy. Yes they are flighty grumpy sometimes ott and often a bit scary but the're great for teaching your dog to focus. I could never own one but I very taken with smooth coated collies they are very different than your borders. They look like anteaters and have a quirky sense of humour. No theyre not for me but I did meet so really nice ones who were calmer and kinder than I expected.
