David and Thomas took Charlie out for a 6.00 am walk during the week when a Deer darted out of the crop infront of Charlie on the track, oh heck normally a full on chase would insue but no a verbal recall had Charlie slam the brakes on and return to them. Quick thinking Thomas emptied his bag of homemade liver treats on the ground along with lots of praise too - result!! Very proud of Charlie but I must stress this isn't always the end result We take what we can get x
Good boy Charlie - and very fast thinking from Thomas. Impressive. I can't even begin to imagine a deer popping out in front of us....
Brilliant! Can you imagine telling yourself 2 years ago that this would happen? You and Charlie have come so far.
Oh wow, what a good boy, Charlie. Helen @charlie, have you seen the YouTube clip re Fenton? OMG Google Fenton come. The title will say Jesus Christ but it's nothing to do with religion. It did make me laugh although I know I shouldn't
Well done Charlie and well done too Thomas. OMG Fenton is pure folklore . I sometimes feel a bit like this when my boy is chasing birds (that are flying only...hes not sure about them when they are on the ground lol).

"FENTOOOOONNNNN....." But Charlie is a Reformed Absconder and could teach Fenton a trick or two.....well done, Charlie boy!!
@Joy your right I could never have imagined it but sometimes we just strike it lucky. @Lisa Thank you, Reformed Absconder, I like that!! Oh I do remember Fenton as he made the news, it was hilarious but not for the poor Deer. The funniest thing was his owner denied his name and said he was called Benson, sorry mate you were caught red handed!!
