Re: Amy and I belong in this section! LOL. Restricting access is a good way to build interest in a toy. Also, you and a family member playing with it with huge enthusiasm, without letting the dog touch it, then putting it back in the drawer. Do that for a week and occasionally afterwards to 'recharge' it. Basically, treat the toy like it's fabulously exciting and precious thing.
Re: Amy and I belong in this section! This morning I sat with her ball next to me on the table while I ate my breakfast. She really wanted it but didn't let her have it. She grabbed my arm and started trying to mouth me, I noticed yesterday she started on one of the boys after I ignored her wanting to go out side.....a little attention seeking from Amy! We went out early this morning before breakfast, worked really hard on her heal work, both on and off lead. When I let her off lead I have gone back to giving her my undivided attention! Running from her, changing direction, and keeping her closer. I have gotten into the habit of going on one long walk and letting her ramble on. So this week it's been shorted walks with more training. how did I expect her to learn to heal only been on the lead twice a day? :
