I took Rue (14 weeks) with me this morning for a few hours to run some errands and hit up some garage sales (what do they call them in the UK?). I had only taken her with me for short trips in the past, so I was a bit nervous as she tends to get wound up pretty easily. But she was a complete angel and so well behaved! She calmly & quietly sat in the passenger seat or on my lap the whole time and there was no biting/chewing/scratching. She also did well walking around at the sales and with everyone she came into contact with (even the other dogs..big improvement!). We have found she is charming and well behaved in public, and turns into a little devil as soon as she gets through the door at home. I assume this is normal. I blame the gene and my husband for not doing what I tell him ! Walk behind me don't let Betty get in front then we have reasonable walk but he will over take !!
