Just reporting in on stage one of the Labratour to let you all know the Eagle has landed :celebrate:....well driven across to Bristol in her wee car. All ears carefully inspected and cleaned by Benson....:)

More updates later I am sure...:):hi:

It is a titchy car, isn't it? My mind was boggling as @Emily_BabbelHund explained how she loaded it for her travels with Brogan. I can't imagine a Rottie being in there, let alone a Rottie and all my worldly belongings :D

    Welcome to Brizzle, Emily!!

It is a titchy car..a pretty amazing titchy car.. things just keep coming out of it! :D

I don't have any dog photos yet...but I do one of Emily and Remy. Remy has decided he likes this particular human.. well what cat wouldn't being hand fed half a salmon sandwich? :D:D

Hey y'all (I feel the need to go really American and resist the urge to copy the UK accents around me)!

Thanks so much for all the nice messages! And @snowbunny , I'm going to assume the word "titchy" is a high compliment meaning "truly adorable and Tardis-like in it's ingenuity" when referring to my car. Yes, it does fit everything I own, plus space for an up-to-mastiff-sized dog. Or, if you are visiting Beanwood Farm, it fits one mastiff-sized CAT, who insists on jumping inside, eating all your foodstuffs and kneading your nether regions with his sharp claws. Remy is terrifying and very persuasive.

After the 3.5 hour drive down from Kate's, I just got into my little "annex" on the beach in Cornwall and my eyes feel like I've been trying to wipe them with sandpaper, so I promise to post more tomorrow plus some pup photos from my visit with Kate. For the moment, let's say that when you get two people together who can both talk most of the human race under the table, you get one rather monumental conversation. :D

And I may also say without any spoilers that I am totally enchanted by the Beanwood pups. I think you could be having the most sausage day possible, but be immediately "fixed" by just laying down on floor and rolling around with those three.

Here are my very favourite photos from my visit with Kate @Beanwood and the marvellous Casper, Benson and Bramble. Two walks, a lovely dinner, lots of talking and a first wade through Champ Dogs. Plus Ducks of Unusual Size, a Cat of REALLY Unusual Size and playing the Kissy Game with Benson. Way too much to say, way too little time today, so I'll start with the photos and hopefully catch up with more words later! :)

    Best Casper... (awwwww)...

Hehehe! What fabulous photos! Love the going, going gone series...bless Casper he just stayed there! :) Doesn't Benson have the cutest bottom? Or maybe I am just biased.... talk about accents though I have only just stopped prefacing everything with "super" and finishing my sentences with "awesome." :D:D

I hope you are having the best time in Cornwall....and looking forward to tomorrow's instalment of the Labratour @kateincornwall ;)

PS Remy says don't forget the salmon sarnies when you are back this way...

I know I use "super" a lot - holdover from both French and German - one of those rare words that works in both. But do I really say "awesome" a lot? I'm mortified!

Quick - give me a better word to learn that won't make me sound like such a goof!

By the way, torrential rain here in Cornwall. I'm catching up on work and the latest season of "RuPaul's Drag Race" while being truly impressed with the horizontal wetness going on outside. I was lucky, though, and had three hours of dry (if not sunny) cliff walks this morning. So many happy dogs here, including some local Labbies!

So far the tiniest bit of Cornwall I've seen is lovely. I expected it to look like the west of Ireland, but it is an even closer ringer for the coastline just north of the San Francisco Golden Gate Bridge. I did a lot of cliff walking with Brogan in places that looked so similar - I'm pretty sure he'd give Cornwall an enthusiastic paws up! :)

And finally nearly back "home" in my snug annex five minutes walk from the beach...

Tomorrow it's Bodmin with Kate, Sam and Nell! :happyfeet:

That might make us two then. Sometimes living otherside of the world kind of has it's disadvantages (who am I kidding :p)
