That's a seriously stunning sunrise, and Keir is stunning too.

    So today...

...I bid a fond farewell to my fabulous fake fireplace...
    Screenshot 2017-11-14 17.30.58.png

...and my temporary teeny home on wheels...
    Screenshot 2017-11-14 17.31.19.png

...and spent seven hours headed north to the wild outpost of Hopeman where the first thing I see is a big black Scottish beastie outside the supermarket...
    Screenshot 2017-11-14 17.32.17.png

...which turned out to be a very drooly Newfie boy...
    Screenshot 2017-11-14 17.32.35.png

...and then I ended up in the harbour...
    Screenshot 2017-11-14 17.29.33.png

    ...and then finally the beach...
    Screenshot 2017-11-14 17.29.07.png

...where I met a black Labrador lass named Elsie. :)

Now back in my former schoolhouse tiny flat to do some work then off to bed (in the classroom!) and breeder visit mañana.

Ha, yes... it loses some of its wonderful tackiness in the photo, doesn't it? :D

By the way, just set up a visit with Zaba's breeder. :doug:

Too much fireplace talk for you? At least I got off talking about tea and Tesco ready meals? :D

Yes isn't it, I was there during the summer, whilst staying with a friend a Gordon Castle, Fochabers.

I only saw a bit of it yesterday afternoon when i arrived (sunset at 4pm, yikes!) but it looked beautiful - proper white sand and everything. I'll have a little more time to explore this afternoon after my morning breeder visit.

Yep - she's in Preston, so I'm hoping to be able return Keir's lead in person! :happyfeet:

Yes, "The Great and Gentle Zaba". His breeder was very friendly on the phone and was happy to have me stop for a visit to meet her dogs, so I definitely wasn't going to say no to that!

For those who don't know Zaba, he is @Boogie 's girl Tatze's best friend. One of my favourite photos of Zaba taken by Mags:

    Zaba is lovely.

Hope you enjoy the north of Scotland! It can be a bit cold and windswept there (though less so on the moray firth than along the Aberdeenshire coast) but I love the landscape along the coast & inland. My brother lives just round the corner from you - I'd suggest you go and visit but they don't have a dog :D

I know, they have kids instead. I mean, what's that about?

It's quite funny actually, they think we are completely barmy about Jess but are (just about) too polite to say so!

Bonkers. Still, while there are people out there procreating the species, it takes the pressure off the likes of me to pop out a rugrat. ;)

I'm barmy about my tribe and proud of it :D
