Week 3 down and dusted on to week 4. We went for our hydrotherapy this morning. Juno was rather disgusted with me that her breakfast didn't appear as normal, but to be fair I didn't have breakfast either! Didn't stop the pleading looks though ;)

Juno wasn't too sure to begin with when the massage started and we had a bit of lip licking but she sat quietly trying to work out what was going on and ended enjoying the massage - well she did by the sleepy look on her face.

She wasn't too sure about being carried into the pool and the water and stood on the platform with water up past her tummy looking at me as if to say well what am I supposed to do now. Thankfully it didn't take many throws of squeaky toys and balls to encourage her to fetch them for me at which point she was trying to bring all the toys back at the same time ;D

Juno definitely enjoyed the second massage more than the first and was very relaxed by the end of it, even by Juno standards ;D. She totally ignored the terrier who was waiting to come in as we left, looked at it in and walked on to the car.

Overall very successful though the lack of a common language made it interesting at times. From my understanding she was very happy with Juno in the water and her swimming although we kept it very light and easy today a it was her first session and only 3 weeks from surgery. She mentioned that there was some contraction of the right should muscle but that was to be expected following the surgery - or at least that's what I understood to say. Off to the vets next week for our 4 week check - up and our next hydrotherapy session on next Wednesday morning

Nice lazy day for the rest of the day as no more exercise. Not sure how I'll cope without the 2 x 5 minutes we've got left. Just realised as well that I haven't given Juno her last anti-inflammatory after her brunch...... DOH!! Give me a break in the routine and I lose the plot  ;) must remember this evening after dinner.
