We've used it for a while now. It's quite expensive but we find it preferable to external applications. Have a chat with your vet and see what they think (it was our vet that recommended it to us).

Yes, Tatze is on Bravecto and Twiglet is on Nexgard - both are fine :)

Do you really need to use any flea preventative? I don't use anything as don't like to think of chemicals in or on my dogs. No fleas at all in nine and a half and three and a half year old Labs.

I have used preventatives ever since one of my Cavaliers picked up fleas. Then you don't just have to treat the dog but the whole house too - they are devils to get rid of and much more chemicals are needed!

Bravecto has recently become available in Australia. I will definitely be using it for ticks when we visit tick areas in future. The dose frequency is much less than with the external application tick treatments. Much less messy too.

I'm considering changing to Bravecto once I've used up my Advantix supply. My vet here in France has just started stocking it :)

I haven't found any ticks on Riley since his dose of Bravest. Obi spaniel has been clear too but he's been wearing a Seresto collar. I would recommend either based on my experience :)

I'm a huge fan of Bravecto for ticks, my two have it in high challenge zones and are fine. I'm just about to move them on to Nexgard Spectra and see how good that is too.

thanks everyone I give it a try I think 2 of my dogs are elderly so they don't swim much and the spot on anti flea works fine, but the young fellow swims a lot and I don't think I'm getting full coverage for him as for the first time I found a flea in the kitchen and he seems itchy sometimes. We are also getting more ticks around here and I really worry about them. My friends young collie picked a couple up a few days ago. they are horrid!
