I have a lot of American dogs, and French dogs....the latest obvious UK lines on Charlie's Dad's side are Kydella and Hawksmoor (Hawksmoor rapidly returns to American dogs though) and Keydella to Poolstead. A little further back I have Simandem - King Neptune, Ocean Calm, Sam Brown which goes to FollyTower dogs.

Hawskmoor Webster is closely related to Casper, and so is Carpenny Walpole. http://www.mementoskennel.com/walpole.html Carpenny Walpole was a Nordic open champion, 5x winner Scandinavian FTs including 2nd in Open stake FT. as well as BOB crufts 2000. My favourite black lab of all time. Hawksmoor Webster is also in Benson five gen pedigree so both Casper and Benson are related. Benson has a lot of Carpenny in his pedigree
Re: Are our dogs related? Hawksmoor Webster is Charlie's great, great grandfather - not very far away at all. Unfortunately, I don't like him very much, he is a very heavy type of dog. I'm glad Charlie is lighter.

Re: Are our dogs related? So far not seen any names I recognise off Penny's pedigree but I still haven't dug it out yet. I suspect we are from lesser known bloodlines though so unlikely to be related (except we think to Naya's Harley as they both have a parent from the same breeder but not sure how they are related)
