It was a while anyway. Maybe 10 days. Although @Boogie might correct me there.

    Silly boy. o_O

Ok now I'm starting to panic. Axel just threw up again. Was only kibble, regurgitated basically. Did this happen because of the string and cone he ate?

Quinn always pukes up kibble the day before she pukes the foreign object. Definitely Keep an eye out for eating/drinking and lethargy as you have been and if he seems off call your vet.

I'm trying so hard to be calm and patient. I'm driving OH mad I think

Axel is still eating and drinking and pooping, thankfully. As well as playful:D

Do you dissect his poo each time? If not you might've missed the string - I'd imagine it would get very compacted in its passage through the gut and stuck inside the poo.

Good luck Axel - Quinn says "xrays are easy and you get to drink barium, which I find delicious!" Hopefully, you will have the same experience as us - there was nothing left there to worry about!

Thanks everyone. Just getting ready to head out the door to the vet office.

I just don't get it. He's happy, wanting to eat breakfast. Just had a solid poo, the poos have still only been about half the size they normally are though

Well, just got home from the Vet. Axel has lost 3kgs in 5 days :( explains why all his bones are very noticeable. She said his intestines felt fine but his stomach wasn't quite right. So I had to leave him there for X-rays to see what's going on.

He's such a brave boy though. He just stood there giving the vet kisses while she felt him over, and did a 'complete physical' and took his temperature. Ah I love him so much, I'm so so upset.
