So after yesterday's "Back to Basics" walk, I was fully expecting to be repeating it today. Coco surprised me - after an initial stop/start of about 5 stops walking up our road (he is always like "ohmygoshawalk... myfavouritething LET'S GO") we settled into a perfect, yes, PERFECT loose lead walk, for about 50 minutes. I kept my treat rate fairly high for this.

In addition, we saw Frodo (Coco loves Frodo, Frodo hates Coco - always difficult passing him) in the distance - quite a way away and I got some C&T in for Coco glancing at him.

    Brilliant!
Sometimes having a really difficult day can really help establish the behaviours in less challenging environments, I've found. When I've been in a place which has made me tear my hair out with stopping and starting, and then gone back a day or so later to somewhere less difficult, but where they still might have struggled, they find it a breeze.

You're doing fabulously, Sue, well done :)
