    Hi everyone,

I have an almost 10 month old Golden Retriever/Lab mix and he has developed a bad habit of eating stools. We try to keep the yard clean so he doesn't eat anything he shouldn't. We do take him to a dog daycare when we both work during the day and sometimes he gets into things he shouldn't, like eating his own stools. I have asked the handlers to keep an eye that he doesn't do this as he has a sensitive stomach and it makes him pretty sick sometimes. I have to watch him any time he's off leash even in the yard because that's always his go to. He gets plenty of good food, so he shouldn't be hungry. He is a dog that wants to put everything in his mouth.

Does anyone know how I can break this habit of his?

What are you feeding him? I think some kibbles are not easily digested and come out smelling and tasting good to the dog as they have not been properly digested.
We had one dog on kibble when the rest were on raw and they would often eat her poo. Once we moved her onto raw as well, it stopped immediately.
