Hi Everyone and their beloved dogs. Can anyone suggest help with my very vocal lab Norman, whenever we are out walking and we come across other dogs particularly on leads, he goes absolutely bonkers with barking and pulls me across the road to get to them. I have tried using an harness, treats to distract him, and now in the process of trying a collar that triggers a vibration when he barks to try and distract him from practically dragging me under a passing vehicle! Nothing works. He’s such a good dog the rest of the time but walking him is becoming a nightmare. He is nearly seven years old now and you would think he should have grown out of this behaviour! Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
