Does anyone know much about rabbits?

My rabbit Barney's ear has gone down. He's nearly 8 and it's always been sticky uppy but it's flopping to one side.

It doesn't seem to be in pain and he let me touch it no problem. It's not red, it doesn't smell and he's not scratching it so I don't think it's an infection. He's eating and drinking and is his usual grumpy self.

I don't want to take him to the vets if it's not necessary as he hates going in his travel box and gets really upset for a few days.

    Any thoughts?

I know nothing about bunnies, just wanted to say that he is indeed very cute and I hope his ear situation turns out to be nothing serious.

And his nose is rather amazing! :)

Beautiful Barney! We had a lovely dark brown lop eared called Jessie. Although her ears were generally down, some days they were up at half mast for a while. she never went to the vet once. And ate half a digestive for breakfast each day. I wouldn't worry if everything else is normal.

    Very cute.
Sorry no idea about the ears. Our bunnies ears are quite moveable.

Granddaughter's rabbit's ear goes up and down but always has. If your Bunnie is eating well and keeping warm and hydrated probably ok. Have you put that question into Google, they might have an answer?
