Same as some others, my two just get a bath when they've rolled in something foul. And if I can get away with just rubbing the offending area with fox poo shamppo, Ill just do that! They both HATE baths with a passion, even though they love swimming....

I never bath my two, they get hosed down outside after muddy walks - which means every day at the moment!

I use Cowboy Magic for fox poo - it's brill.

I don't like bathing them as it strips the natural oils and they become smelly.

    :)

I haven't bathed Molly since the day after I bought her home in November 2013.

She stank to high heaven having been crawled over, peed on and pooed on by her litter mates.

She simply doesn't like the water. I know she's a traitor to her kind

Charlie says "a bath what's that?" ;D Charlie is 4 years old and has never had a bath and he never rolls so a bonus :) When he's muddy a good play in the river sorts him out and a good towel rub :) x

    I quite believe this.
Lilly used to get shampooed frequently after her hydro swim, but over the last 6-9 months the shampooing is optional and the standard is just a rinse down and dry with the dryer.
Sadly, Lilly likes a good roll :(
And I think her four and a half years of regular washing has meant it is really tricky to get that teflon coating that repels fox poo or dead seal or seagull or dead fish, built up.
Even when she hasn't obviously rolled, she will smell after a romp in the woods. I can put up with that up to a point, but she DOES spend all day lounging on our bed when we are out :p

Luckily, she will now step into the shower cabinet, subject herself to Animology Fox Poo shampoo, a good rub down after a shake, then the application of a drying coat before being let loose in the house.
I have tried spot cleaners, and tomato ketchup (vomit :p ) with not enough success to avoid a more thorough wash.

Must really, really give the cowboy magic a go............
