Bear loves his caterpillar soft toy, but it's a "supervise" toy (lots of stuffing), so it's not crate suitable. It appears caterpillar was too close to his crate to resist and this morning we were horrified to find caterpillar strangled in the bars
Oh, poor caterpillar. Does he need surgery? I had to read this as Oban just disabled his caterpillar too. Oban's is a little wind up toy about two inches long that crawls across the floor making a neat sound. I have video of Oban being afraid of toys like that when he was 3 months old and again when he was 3 years old. Finally he got to age 9 years and got brave enough to bite caterpillar but still tentatively enough that a little chiropractic manipulation by OH restored caterpillar to movement.
You are all misreading the situation. Caterpillar squeeeeeeezed himself through the bars so that he could be nearer his best friend Bear. True love.
So cute and pleased with himself! Caterpillar is luckier than Bailey's long legged monkey who has just come through major surgery - one leg reattached and face re stuffed and sewn together again....Bailey was so happy to have him back in his life!
Yes fortunately "no caterpillars were harmed during the making of this film" Bear is very different to my previous lab, he can chew chunks off a Kong toy, and yet the softest of stuffed toys can last forever. Unfortunately if during his chewing a hole develops and he discovers stuffing, he believes it must all come out I like this scenario, Toy Story is real...lol
