Oh Stanley, you really are having a tough time.
Thinking of you Jen.....you need some de-stressing. You are going to worry endlessly if you aren't with Stanley though :(

His poos are still runny but I’m keeping an eye on them.

He definitely seems a bit brighter in himself than he has the past few days so I’m hoping it’s just the medication/upheaval of the past few days which has given him a runny tummy :(

The Hills ID should help to settle his tummy. I hope he recovers quickly and you’e able to have your holiday knowing that all is well, as it sounds as if you’ll need it.

Poor Stanley and poor you! Really hope Stanley improves enough for you to go away, Jen. You definitely need a break!

No more sick again overnight and only one runny poo in the past 11 hours so hopefully we’ll be getting back to normal.

He’s pretty much back to his usual self in terms of his mood. OH gave me a hug this morning and a black furry head appeared in the middle of us like ermmm what about me?! :D

My mam & dad and MIL want us to go on holiday, they said they’ve got it covered and the first sign of anything they’ll have him to the vets and us on a plane home.

But I’m still just going to see how today goes. We’re going to have a chill day with a little walk and just hopefully see more improvement x

One thing I have learned over many years Jen, is that like small children, dogs go downhill very quickly, but equally they recover just as quickly, bouncing back with extraordinary gusto ! Hoping Stanley continues to improve today , and that you can jet off with a peaceful frame of mind xx

I'm really sorry to hear that you and Stanley have had such a rotten week. What timing though :( I hope he has a nice, settled Thursday, and that you can head off on your holiday feeling pretty confident that he's on the mend.

Really glad that he seems so much better and hope you can have your holiday. Sounds like you’ve got great family back-up.

It does sound like Stanley is on the mend. I always feel happier when they are brighter in themselves, and normal behaviours are resumed, although might take another day or two physically.

Oh no :( Is he on any medication that could make him sick or past medication which has upset his stomach/bowel?

It looks like he’s getting referred for an endoscopy and investigation as I said I didn’t want him opened up unnecessarily.

They’ve taken more bloods so we’re just waiting for the result.
