Looks like we are squeezing another foster in for Christmas This time a black labrador bitch and Benson is soooooo excited! :) Through Black Retreiver Cross (Jemima can be rather persuasive) Sadly has just lost all her pups a few weeks ago, so will need some tlc. Benson and Casper have already got her a Christmas present...

She is called Kerry, and a beauty. Only I don't really like her name...any ideas folks? I quite like India and Willow...:)

She arrives on the 20th December...

Glad she'll have a caring home to go to soon. I'm sure the boys will love having a foster sister :)

Oh she looks lovely, What big, generous hearts you and the boys have. She'll definitely have lots of tlc :D. I agree on the re-naming, India would be a lovely name for her, or perhaps Cleo - quite fancy that name for a girl :D

Yey, another foster!! I'm sure you'll give her all the TLC she needs.

I love both names (obviously I'd like at least one of them! :D ). India was on our shortlist, too.

Wow she's a stunner. She looks like a Luna to me but love the names you have chosen. Do you mind me asking how is that going to work out with Benson, will she already be spayed? Lucky girl spending Christmas with you and the boys!! :) xx

How very beautiful - and lovely of you. Looking forward to getting to know her better via the forum!

Poor love, losing her pups - do you mean they died? How sad...

That was a concern of mine...however she has been spayed, otherwise we might struggle with Benson, and really wouldn't be fair on the lad.I am leaning towards Indy....although I rather like Luna too! :)

Here you go...Indy arrived on Sunday....very tired poor thing. We have had a few minor health niggles to sort out, so we are keeping her fairly quiet and calm with short walks as she is very unfit.

Indy is a gem, desperate to please and really hasn't put a paw wrong. She settled instantly, and is just in awe of Benson. Casper is just great with her too, his eyes turn to liquid and his whole face softens when she comes over to talk to him. She is one of those dogs that just puts a smile on your face.

    Indy by the Christmas tree...

She is improving day by day...I can't believe how quickly she is toning up. Looks like a different dog already :)
