I'm looking to buying a new harness and wondered what people would recommend that's available in the UK? I would quite like one with a front and back clip and doesn't restrict movement or cause rubbing. Also not really one that is too bulky. What do you all use?
I swear by the julius K9 ones. Not cheap but they are so solid and you can change the badges to ‘friendly’ ‘reactive’ etc Julius K9 16IDC-AM-2, IDC-Powerharness, Size: 2, Aquamarine https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B017UD55C2/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_ax33AbVDBZG0H
Perfect fit works for me. As it is made up from three pieces you can get a good fit for each individual dog
I like the perfect fit it's comfortable easy to fit, will fit in a pocket when not in use on a walk and they wash nice and dry beautifully.you can replace broken or worn bits .
I have a Perfect Fit one for Wispa too. As I bought the one with wider straps it's probably a bit more bulky than some other harnesses, but it fits her very comfortably. I've had no problems with her wearing it and. as @SwampDonkey says, it washes very well.
I always recommend Perfect Fit as well which was voted one if the best harnesses by the Whole Dog Journal
Perfect Fit - but we don’t use it anymore. Red was never a fan of her harness despite it being ‘perfect’. It never rubbed or restricted and was easy to care for.
We had the Perfect Fit for Scooby - the wide one, he was a very big Lab. Great harness. It doesn't suit Coco though. Probably the narrow one would, but he has the Haqihana which we love (no front attachment on it though). No rubbing, the girth strap sits back from the arm pits (further back than the Perfect Fit), and no restriction of movement.
Fergus has a 40mm perfect fit, it’s everything we need. The company are very helpful too, in helping choose the correct size.
Luna has just got a perfect fit one, she is 7 months old and we all love it! We went for the yellow as it shows up in the dark when we are out walking, it is so comfy for her and easy for us as she is such a fearful puppy at times, it also helps with training her leash work .
