Next month Bella will be 1! I can't quite believe it!! I'm obviously going to spoil her rotten ( no more than usual ha) and want to buy her some new toys. I'm thinking of the boomer ball as she loves footballs but bursts them ...

Any other ideas? Debated the kong wobbler... but she chews plastic... Not sure on that one.

    Anyone tried the Kong stix?

She loves cuddly toys funnily enough, they actually usually survive as she likes to cuddle them :)

    :)

happy almost birthday!!!! My Bella LOVES anything that squeaks....but if it's a plush squeaker, they generally only last a day or two before she guts them to get the squeaker out. That being said....Kong has several squeaks that she is unable to destroy - despite her best efforts!
She has a Kong jumble football - it squeaks ATROCIOUSLY - plus has a ball in there that rattles around. She also has a Kong Gel purple hippo squeak - that she's had since she was 8 weeks old....that she hasn't destroyed. Kong squeaky tennis balls are always a hit - but she does tend to split them at the seam eventually. She also really likes her chuck-it whistling ball - it's good squishy rubber, and whistles through the air when you throw it - and bounces REALLY well.

I made my Bella a cake, and we shredded lots of cardboard....and played lots with squeak toys all day. it was a good day! :)

Does she have a lambie? Every Labrador needs a lambie! We have the Kong one: Tupper the Lamb. They destroy most soft toys in a matter of minutes, but that has lasted pretty well - albeit it no longer has legs or a tail....

I had a kong wobbler when I just had Willow, but it's too much with two dogs. It's very large and I'm not sure they would have any interest in chewing it, because the treats coming out would distract them. It is VERY loud, though, skittering across the wooden floors and crashing into furniture. I'm not too sad that we gave it away! :D

Cardboard will always be a firm favourite around here, although I'm glad to say that, as they've got older, they seem to have mellowed a bit and only destroy cardboard that's given to them, rather than any and every box that is placed in their reach. Tissues, on the other hand.... tissues are always fair game :)

The best thing I can buy Charlie is a football on a rope - the world's best thing to him. He bursts them, really quite quickly, so it's a once a year thing for him. Slightly more often, I buy him a 3 peaks float ball (£5) - he will destroy these too, he rips the outer cover, so he doesn't get them very often, but they last longer than a standard football. They are to be played with though, not chewed.

And the 3 peaks bounce ball - he hangs on to these and chews these given the chance, so they don't last very long either, but they are very, very valuable to him (I use them as a big reward). At just £3 I buy a few of these.

Jura has a Kong Stix but it has not been a success. Every time I throw it for her she brings back a real stick! I have got a couple of friends and their dogs love them though.

Ella has a Kong wobbler and I completely agree with Fiona about the noise! That thing is crazy loud! Ella does love it though...

She also has a Kong stix and loves it. It was the first thing she actually started to run after and bring back to us.

Her absolutely favourite toy has to be her Kong knots thingamybob. I'm sure it's an animal of some sort but im not sure exactly what it is. It's fluffy but durable too and she carries it everywhere.

Oooooo thanks for all the ideas everyone, no she does not have a lambie ( she has a cow and an elephant) but maybe I need to look into this :) She also loves tissues and cardboard, running off with my slippers and digging up the garden :)

Not liking the sound of this noisy crashing Kong wobbler ha ha.

Sunset Pipes you are so good making your Bella cake I've already googled one company and there's a great place that makes them and sends them out he he:)
