Hiya, i have a 16 month old, very lively!, black lab called Vincent and in two weeks i am having a new puppy, which is of course very exciting ... however, i have some hurdles to get over (not big ones, but i want to get it right!). I really want to be able to take Norton (the new pup) everywhere i go with Vincent and obviously when Norton arrives, he will be too little to go down outside and then when he gets to 12 weeks and is able to go down, he won't be able to do the miles that me and Vincent do now, and i don't want either of them to miss out on anything so ... i wondered if anyone knows where i can get some kind of sling carrier that i can keep Norton safely in while i'm out and about with Vincent ... i've looked at the sling type carrier things they have on Amazon and Ebay and other pet shop sites but they only go up to 7kg, and Norton will be heavier than that when we pick him up! Anyone got any ideas?? Thanks in advance.

We met people cross country skiing with a Sheltie puppy in a plain old back pack. He could sort of sit on the floor/bottom of it and see out the top. Most amazing, to me, it was on the lady's back and the pup just stayed there without squirming and wiggling to get out.
@Boogie used a baby sling if I remember - and her pups are often older befor they can go on the ground due to the Guide Dog vaccination schedule She may be able to give some advice. jac
