No, Pongo's Tasmanian Devil hours were in the evening. You know the scene.... you've fed him, made your own dinner, settling down for nice quiet evening in front of telly..... then the little ****** decides to attack attack attack!

In the morning he was pretty much focused on getting his breakfast.

One thing that worked for us was teaching him to 'sit' really early. He picked it up quickly, which was a relief. It meant that we could at least interrupt the Tasmanian Devil briefly with the promise of a biscuit for a sit (although as soon as he had the biscuit it was back to chaos....)

We also learned to play 'the towel game' every time we came in from the garden. This was an old bath towel that we'd play 'toreador' with, then the towel would attack him, knock him down (gently of course!) and wrap him up for a good old wrestle while drying his paws and tummy. And best of all he would bite the towel and not him mummy! (Basically as soon as he opened his mouth he got a bit of towel shoved in it, ha ha ;D). The side-effect was that the towel became his favourite chew toy, sometimes even better than my trousers !!!!!

Whatever works for you. Good luck, keep us posted....and post some pictures if you can!

Thanks Rosie, I can see the towel scene now, made me smile! She's like a completely different pup in the mornings and not helped by the fact that she thinks the day starts at 5am!!! Here's a photo from a couple of days ago! x
