Hi everyone I only noticed this just now, Henry's almost 7 months and he's just Yawned theirs a small mark right at the back of his tongue anyone any idea I'm guessing birth mark ? Not sure though thanks
My one Lab has an enormous black patch on his tongue. I used to have a problem with him running in on his retrieves and one gundog trainer said "the ones with black marks on their tongues always run" for one moment I believed him
Quinn has black spots on her tongue that have gotten a lot bigger as she's gotten bigger. You can't miss them! Everyone comments on them...we have heard everything to it means she is not a purebred to it means she was too closely bred. Our vet said that they are just like human birthmarks and don't mean anything about being purebred or not. My research has shown the same. It definitely makes her easy to spot at the dog park anyway!
