Frankie that is very kind! So far we may have a fosterer, but I have also booked Blake into kennels (half mile. from us.) experienced in dogs needing extra care. Might just be looking at transport Weds night to our own kennels, where my stepdad will look after him over night, then to Baramor kennels for 3 days, that's if the fosterer falls through,it's always good to have a plan B!
Sadly poor Blake is now too poorly to travel. He is being treated, and will need to be assessed again soon. So, very, very disappointed. At least he has been able to get treatment, as without everyone's support he wouldn't have even got to this stage. As soon as I get more information will let you know. The rescue are desperate to get him to the UK.
Oh, that is so sad. Hoping for a good recovery for the poor soul and that he will be fit to fly soon.
After a bit of a roller coaster ride healthwise,Blake is now flying from Cyprus to Paris, then overland from Paris to the UK tomorrow. I didn't want to tempt fate and post any earlier as poor Blake has really been struggling. Will keep you all updated on his journey as soon as I get any news
Fingers and paws crossed here that all goes smoothly, Kate. And bless you for looking out for this boy. I know he is one of many, but no less precious himself for that.
Dear dog, he must be wondering what is happening. I am so pleased you are having him, can he speak English or will sign language have to do for the moment! Looking forward to hearing all about it.
Oh, I hope it all goes smoothly. Let us know when he makes landfall in sunny South Glos. It's been a long road for the poor boy.
I've gone all goosebumps looking at that photo. Is his flight at 12.30? Been trying to look it up. Actually I'd be better trying not to think about it!
