Beanwood You should be very proud of your boys and their welcome to Blake. What a star Benson was to offer his favourite purple hippo. Don't think it will be long before Blake really understands about play, l loves retrieving and tuggy games already. It's so good to hear that he settling in well. xx

This is fabulous. I think I have missed a fair bit of this, but commend you all who have helped with these two dogs x

So lovely to see him so happy. It's very emotional to see these photos of him. Well done, Kate.

My mum has one of the dogs from that pound, Kate - she thinks she lives in doggy heaven here! My sister has three dogs from the same pound, and is currently fostering a fourth. Surprisingly, considering what they have been through, they are all lovely, good-natured dogs - a testament to canine nature and forgiveness.

I put Molly's old crate on Gumtree to raise funds for Blake. By the time it had actually been sold Blake was happily ensconced in GB.

I feel that the funds (all £15 of them) should go to animal rescue. Unless someone has a better idea I would like to give it to Oxford Animal Rescue.

It is a small organisation, so for them every little helps. They have a no destruction policy, so,they have some venerable old chaps living out their lives in rural Oxfordshire. Not headline grabbing, but I feel very important work.

Let me know what you think.

Ah, that's lovely Tina, and sounds like a great cause. :) £15 is not to be sniffed at! It could feed a good few dogs, or buy a vaccine etc. I'm sure the Oxford Animal Rescue will put it to good use.
