Willow cut her pad on our morning walk. I'm not sure on what, because she didn't fuss when we were out, but as soon as I got her home, I noticed blood spots on the floor. In the time it took to get her to the bathroom and prepare a betadine solution for bathing it, she managed to turn the majority of the apartment into something resembling a murder scene.

Oh well, the floors needed mopping anyway!

Surprisingly for my little drama queen, she's not making a fuss about it in the slightest. Bless her little (blood-stained) cotton socks.

Poor Willow, hope it heals quickly. I had a German Sht Pointer who managed during her life, to cut all four paws at different times, I remember taking her straight off the hills where she had cut herself, to the vet and there was blood even up the walls! It is a difficult place to have a cut because you normally cannot stitch it, however, they do heal eventually. Good Luck:)

It doesn't look too bad. It's a cut on the side of one of her pads on a front foot. She's had a little lick, but she's not fussing it. She's just been outside, where it's a bit wet, and it didn't re-open it, which is good. I'll keep washing it in betadine and will keep an eye on it.
