    Are there any training book or blogs that are deemed gospel when looking for info about dog training ? Thanks in advance.

    They are easy to follow (if you ignore the fact her dogs are the equivalent of top scoring mensa dogs...o_OEspecially like the ones that run you through how to settle a pup, training calm..oh and loads more! :)

    It really depends upon what you are most interested in reading/learning as there are simply masses of books/blogs/forums that could be recommended. There are just too many excellent trainer/behaviourists who write/blog regularly on a wide range of topics.

    So what would you say are your go-to ones for someone about to get a new puppy, Jojo?

    I'd strongly recommend The Happy Puppy Handbook, by Pippa Mattinson. Very comprehensive, clear and up to date advice. And written specifically for the new puppy owner :) It'll give you a great idea of all the things you need to be planning for as well (eg sleeping arrangements).

    I’m on puppy number six an I get it out every time a pup is due. You forget soooo much in a year :)

    Yes, I agree, this is a very good site, you can find information and help on whatever issue you are having.
