breeding programme yes or no

    Who takes the Mickey :mad: send em round here;) I no plenty of doodles of all varieties they just fun dogs.

    What a handsome dog Angus is , I wouldn't take the mick out of him , or any dog for that matter x

    My sister has a golden doodle, he is a lovely-natured dog just HUGE, and his coat needs a tremendous amount of maintenance, far more than my two.

    It seems the golden doodle requires much more grooming than the Labradoodle. Hattie gets groomed once a week, same as Charlie :) x

    I think you are right. Bailey has a shaggy overcoat, with a wooly undercoat which quickly turns to dreadlocks if not constantly groomed. Also, he's white and they live on the river so he is always wet and muddy, and he takes ages to dry... I love him, but I wouldn't want to deal with his fur!!

    With the longer coat of a GR and the curly coat of a Poodle that's the high maintenance coat you will get. When Hattie gets soaked on a rainy walk I towel dry her but she is still drying out hours later. Oh the mud on a white curly dog :eek: that's why I chose black! :D x
