Glad you all got a god night's sleep. You can handle most things after a decent kip.

Interesting read. I am in the position of having a knee replacement at the end of the month and although Nelson is calming down a bit I am worried that when I get home he will be very excited to see me but then I am wondering: are dogs intuitive, would they know to be careful? Or am I wishful thinking? Hubby is already thinking of bring the crate back in to be on the safe side.

I have had several operations on my neck since having Harley. When I've come home from hospital she has been excited but never jumped on me or got boisterous around me. She would sniff me a lot and come to me to snuggle up and sleep. I think she knows I have a bad back/neck because she is generally a lot calmer with me than anyone else :)

Well just going on how Elsie is with my husband now (he is in a lot of pain) he can't walk her she nearly has him over and she leaps on him like a thing possessed when he comes home from work. Walks like an angel for me oddly.
