    Hi,

This is my first post after getting our 13 week old Lab, Lizzie and I could do with a bit of advice please.

Everything was going pretty well until we tried to transition her from the breeders choice of food, Eukanuba, to Orijen as after a bit of research this seemed to be one of the best. I think we were doing it slow enough, but maybe not, first we swapped a quarter of food for 4 days and then moved to half and half but after a few days of this she got really runny poo at night time, we thought it would sort its self but it didn’t so we moved back to Eukanuba yesterday and poo is fine again. Not really sure what to do from here, not sure whether it’s just the high meat content of Orijen that the was problem for her, in which case do we just stay with Eukanuba, or do I try a different brand with higher meat content.

Any advice on next steps would be much appreciated.

    Thanks

    Deb

sorry for all the poo chat :)

Quite a few dogs struggle with chicken. Is that the main ingredient? If she is thriving on her current food why not leave it until she is a bit older and try again.
