I have just taken Charlie to do his recall training. I accidentally blew my whistle 3 times instead of 2 and he stood completely still looking at me as if to say "you can't count". Think it really has clicked. Well done Charlie Helen

Re: Charlie can count!!! Well done Charlie! Oops, Helen! : I tried to teach Juno and Maia different whistles, Juno knew the difference in pitch but Maia didn't and responded to both, it wasn't vital so I gave up and both reacted to the same one.
Re: Charlie can count!!! He's definitely smart ! The dog trainer we see sometimes has spaniels, his cocker spaniel will go back and hunt for a dummy even though one wasn't thrown. The clumber spaniel just looks at him as if to say 'I know there's nothing there you're just having a laugh and I'm not budging!'
