Just joined this forum yesterday and read through Charlie's adventure using speed reading technique. So, so glad he's doing well. He's in my thoughts and prayers, for sure.

Glad Charlie is getting better and better. Think he might need some doggy icecream, always soothes the throat...

A little update. Charlie had another follow up visit with the vet yesterday and she is thrilled with his progress, she keeps refering to him as a 'very lucky dog' to have survived such an accident. Of course Charlie is not content with almost dying in a freak accident, he has now a cut pad and hasn't had a walk for 2 days, I tell you I could write a book  Anyway, he is still on lots of AB's, she examined the glands in his neck, so far so good but it won't be until the AB's are finished that the splinters could cause the infection so we must be very vigilant. He has another vet visit next month.

    Thanks xx :)
