Thanks everyone. I have checked and there's no bites and I thoroughly cleaned the scratches, no sign of infection but I will keep an eye on them. He seems absolutely fine and over the shock! Maybe there were kittens but I didn't hear anything and the cat ran off. Maybe she was as startled as Charlie. xx

This is good news - I was wondering how he was getting on today. Charlie sounds like a tough customer!
