Labrador pups chew, they are teething and need something to chew, this will be their bed, your kitchen cabinets, flooring, walls, anything is game.
I would not leave the pup out of the crate until its a least 12 months old, even then this should be supervised.

Have you tried Vet bed, they can chew it but it is tough. We have pieces of Vet bed that has done 3 pups and is still being used for the lastest pup.
Also how much exercise is the pup having on a daily basis, this has a direct effect on the pup on how it chills out.
Labrador pups need a lot of excercise, the 5 mins per day x month of age is OK when 4-5 months old but older they need a lot more or training every day.

Spent the last couple of days decorating the utility room boarding up, lick of paint, looks great ;D Soooo.... I've decided to leave him in his crate for a little while longer ::) I think its really his mouth that's the problem, i had a look and noticed he has a few new ones and a couple still under the skin which like us must be bothering him. But at least he has a lovely bedroom now ;)

I wonder if you can buy something like the stuff you used to paint on nails to stop nail biting that would put him off chewing it ;D

This is an acquired taste, and one that many Labradors seem quite happy to acquire.

Jac, you were a cruel mum?! I tried Tabasco sauce on my middle daughter's nails when she was about 6 years old. She sweetly waited for me to apply it, grinned and then went and washed it off. Probably the first time ever she used the soap and the hand towel. ;D ;D

He can chew what he likes. When you look that good, forgiveness is guaranteed.
